PRECISION PARTS for Mechanical Engineering
Precision parts are turned, milled, laser-cut, or punched and ground machine components that require exceptional precision. These precision parts are manufactured by turning, milling, and grinding, with precise tolerances being maintained. Although modern machining techniques guarantee excellent surface finishes and tolerances, subsequent heat treatment of the components affects the surface properties, necessitating grinding. Grinding technology is therefore an indispensable component in the production of precision parts. Complex contours can also be manufactured by electrical discharge machining. Guide rails, shafts, bushings, worktops, pressure plates, spacers, and rings are typical examples of such components. Machine knives and carbide parts are also frequently used in this area.
